Yoga is a wonderful practice that can help strengthen and nourish the body and relax the mind. From the Sanskrit, yuj, yoga is “to yoke” or “to unite.” That is just the tip of the iceberg. Yoga is a personal space, breathing room and a state free from the superfluous. It is an opportunity to toss away the to-do list and be authentic and in the moment. Over time, or even after one session, yoga can give you a broader smile, calmer breath and a more open heart.
